My Dear
as theare is a Ship in sight appearantly Bound to the Sandwich Islands I will write you a few lines we are all in good health at the presant time we have on Board a no of Sperm but we have not seene the spout of A Sperm Whale for the last Month I expect the reason is that we have had A verry Strong Lea Currant Oh! how I long to see you and our dear Boy you must Kiss him for me you must give my Love to all you must keepe up A good heart if you should see Mr. Macy you may tell him of our Situation I shall tuch at Payta next September or October I can write no more for I have got to go 4 Miles in my Boat to enable me to send this that this may finde you in good health as it leaves me is the cincere Prayer of your affectionate Perry
